La Babia Gift Set

Includes a set of four Etched Turquoise Stemless Glasses, the distinctive vessels we use to serve our hotel’s signature drink, the La Babia Margarita. The glasses are crafted by hand at a family-run studio in San Miguel de Allende. Since 1988, the diverse and inclusive workshop has been in compassionate service to the local community, with disabled people making up more than 20% of their staff. The skilled Mexican artisans blow the recycled turquoise glass using an old-world Spanish technique that dates back over 500 years. Each glass is then hand-carved on a grinding stone to reveal intricate flowers and leaves.
